Any tips for managing work with this (lack of) sleep schedule? I'll get 3 weeks leave, and then I'm back to a job with lots of mentally demanding client-facing work. Am I screwed?
Those three weeks will be rough sleep-wise, but they will help your body clock rearrange itself around not having as much sleep. At least that’s in my experience—I could have two hours sleep overnight, but by the time I’ve gotten up and started the day I don’t feel as crushingly tired as I might have expected. Hopefully that will be the case for you too.
See if you can take the earlier feeding/changing shift during the nights as well, so you can clock off and get a few hours of sleep in right before you have to get up for work.
Spot on! Audible has been a savior. I listened to so many audiobooks while trying to get my kids back to sleep.
In about 3 months I'll be facing this head on!

You’ll be fine!

Thanks! I hope so too.
That's a good tip, I'll talk to my partner about it when it comes around. Might try to sneak some power naps in between clients too...
Thinking about this in my future!
